Biography
Milica was born in Sombor, Serbia. She was first introduced to photography at the age of 9 when she joined a local photo club. It was love at first sight, which propelled her into a lifelong journey with photography. She has been working as a professional photographer for over 20 years, both in the US and her native Serbia. She's had numerous solo and group exhibitions.
Her inspirations root back to life as a young girl; she started doing rhythmic gymnastics at the age of 5 and fell in love with the magic of the human body as well as art and music. Ever since, she has had daily experiences in the world that have been quite different from the one that is right in front of her. She likes to say that doing rhythmic gymnastics everyday for several hours taught her the importance of discipline and devotion, but also how to tap into the different reality that is more harmonic, flawless, elegant, sensual and beautiful. This is how she learned that no matter what’s going on in the outside world, you can always find an endless amount of peace, creativity and joy inside of yourself.
Milica is a single mom to a wonderful boy Jude as well as a devoted ACIM student, practicing non-dualistic philosophy and teachings. She is currently living in her home country of Serbia.
